About us

Víctor Guijarro. I have a PhD in Philosophy and I teach History of science at the Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid. The main focus of my work is cultural history of science and technology, topics about which I have published several articles and books.

Leonor González. I teach Technology and Scientific culture at the San Isidro High School. I’m interested in the history of scientific instruments and the cultural history of technology, subjects that I have addressed in articles and contributions to books.

Together, we have published La quimera del autómata matemático. Del calculador medieval a la máquina analítica de Babbage (Cátedra, 2010) and La comprensión cultural de la tecnología. Una introducción histórica (Universitas, 2015).
